Jake Hawkins is one of WILLCO’s professional carpenters. He is a valued member of our team and we excited to introduce him to you.

As a carpenter at WILLCO, Jake is ready to handle any variety of projects we can throw at him; from simple siding repairs to complex design-build projects. While he enjoys all types of woodworking, Jake has a special interest in rough framing and fine finish work.
Jake is currently working on site at our Camas dormer project, which we featured in our most recent blog entry.  Here, both of his interests come together.

The exterior of the dormer and its support structure require a great deal of framing, while the inside, which will be a master bath/closet, involves the fine finish that Jake enjoys.

Before starting a career in carpentry, Jake traveled the world as a marine merchant, which took him across the world from South America to Asia and everywhere in between. Jake says his favorite places that his work has taken him to have to be Malta and Egypt. These days, Jake has a more localized vocation, which means you can find him around the Portland area. Some of his hobbies include contra dancing, a type of English and Scottish folks dance and watching classic films.

WILLCO offers a range of carpentry services performed by our journey-level carpenters. Jake, or another of our skilled carpenters, can assist you with your remodel, dry rot repair, siding, fence, deck and stair builds and much more. We have a skilled team ready to assist you; should you have any carpentry needs, please do not hesitate to contact us to get an estimate scheduled.
